How it works
If you are a LADWP residential or small commercial electric customer with a qualifying Wi-Fi connected thermostat for cooling, you can earn a $65 virtual prepaid Mastercard® for enrolling in the Power Savers Program. Plus, if you stay enrolled, you can earn up to $120* each year. Let's work together to reduce our energy use!
Cut cost, not comfort
From June through December, LADWP will automatically adjust the temperature on the enrolled thermostat in your home by no more than four degrees for no more than four hours when it detects a high energy-demand event. There will be a maximum of possible 20 adjustment days and these will occur on non-holiday weekdays. You can opt out of Power Savers event adjustments at any time from your mobile device, web browser or thermostat.

*Annual incentive amount will be dependent on the percentage of your participation in the total demand response events in the season, as defined below:
Less than 25% participation is not eligible for an annual participation incentive
25% to 75% participation earns a $60 annual participation incentive
Greater than 75% participation earns a $120 annual participation incentive
