Indiana Michigan Power customers with a qualifying Wi-Fi smart thermostat for cooling can earn $25 for enrolling. Plus, receive a bill credit up to $2.40 per Peak Energy Use Event. Indiana Michigan Power will automatically adjust the temperature in your home by a few degrees during an event when energy-demand is high. Peak Energy Use Events happen weekdays between May and September and typically last 2-3 hours. You can opt out of an event at any time from your mobile device, web browser or thermostat. However, you will not get the bill credits or energy savings.
