If you are an Entergy New Orleans residential or small business electric customer with an eligible WiFi-connected thermostat for cooling, you can earn $70 for enrolling in EasyCool. Plus, you will receive an additional $25 after each season for staying enrolled.

Entergy New Orleans will automatically adjust the temperature on the enrolled thermostat by no more than four degrees for no more than four hours when it detects a high-energy-demand event. There will be a maximum of 15 adjustments, and these will occur on non-holiday weekdays. You can opt out of peak energy event adjustments at any time from your mobile device, web browser or thermostat.
